HIV and Hepatitis Screen and sensitization

In commemoration of the World AIDS day, the team set out in partnership with the Health Sciences Student’s association- HESSA to sensitize and screen the Molyko and Malingo Health areas of the virus which has marked a tremendous increase in spread amongst the youth.

This event carried out on the 13th December 2020, with Over 700 youth tested, positive cases were referred to the Buea regional Hospital while negative individuals were encouraged to keep themselves safe. Adequate counseling, condoms and other materials were distributed to the population. In addition, we visited CHITECHMA UNIVERSITY Buea to continue our sensitization on HIV and it’s prevention.

We continue to advocate for a healthy community through constant community engagements, community health advocacy and sensitizations.
